Mangal Pandey Biography


Mangal Pandey was first person of India who has opposed Britishers with full heart. It means he had protested strongly . He had raised voice against British rule by body heart and wealth .

He had said that this spark of  freedom will be like a movement after few days . It became true only after few months . 

Mangal Pandey was born on 19th July 1827 in Nagwa village of Balia district of Utterpradesh state.
His father's name was Divakar Pandey and his mother's name was Abhayrani Pandey .

In the byear 1949 he had started his job as a constible in 34th batalian of the army of East India Company . He had denied to open bullet made skin of cow i.e most pious according to Hindu religion .Finally he had started work of opposition against Brishers in 1857.

British adminstration made thousands rule to avoid repitition of such activities.

Britishers hanged him in Barachpir Cantonment on 8th April 1857.
